ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management
- Advise management on security policies and procedures related to the Healthcare IT industry
- Design comprehensive information and cybersecurity plan
- Implement, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware
- Monitor systems and networks for security vulnerabilities, breaches and intrusions
- Research and remain current on security and cybersecurity best practices
- Educate and train IT staff on information system security best practices
- Develop, implement and maintain information security and cybersecurity end user training
- Develop, implement and maintain information security and cybersecurity end user training
- Work with police and other cybersecurity and legal entities when security and cybersecurity issues arise
