Hours: 32-Hour, Days, Monday through Friday, Some weekend coverage
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for greeting patients at the Mammography department. Follow current hospital and department procedures to properly register the patient for procedures. Answering patient and other hospital staff questions in person and on the phone is required. The secretary will be involved with scheduling all types of procedures while coordinating schedules with central scheduling, Radiologists, Technologists, other physicians, and other hospital departments. This position will also perform other general support tasks and mammograhpy office duties. Print letters, assist with changing patients on arrival, request outside images from other facilities, uploading images when they are available and other tasks as needed.

Experience with medical terminology required.
Meditech experience preferred.
Required Skills
Excellent word processing and computer skills required.
Excellent telephone skills required.
Experience with billing and insurance preferred
Ability to communicate in English; both verbally and in writing required.
