Essential Functions
- Works with IT, staff, and providers to analyze and develop reporting needs which includes design and implementation of dashboards, reports, and other various business intelligence applications.
- Works to use data as an analytical tool, displaying the information in new forms for the purpose of analysis, exploration, prescriptive/predictive analytics and reporting.
- Provides input to the development of quality metrics
- Performs ad hoc analyses of healthcare data using SQL Server, Excel, and other tools, upon request.
- Identifies data issues and works with appropriate leaders to identify and recommend solutions.
- Participates in the development and execution of education to staff and IT.
- Responsible for supporting daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting and analytics including the design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance, and analysis of database queries and reports.
- Responsible for development of reports and dashboards to support key initiatives for senior leadership and other leaders throughout the organization.
- Responsible for both production and ad hoc reporting including required reports for governmental agencies such as CMS.
- Constantly works to identify opportunities for improvement in work process and reports
- Uses and analyzes large healthcare data sets and relational databases
