Emergency Medicine Physician – Part-Time Nocturnist

Heywood Healthcare is seeking a Part-Time Emergency Medicine Nocturnist to join our collaborative Emergency Medicine team, providing overnight coverage at Heywood Hospital and Athol Hospital in beautiful North Central Massachusetts.

This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a consistent schedule of eight (8) 12-hour overnight shifts per month, making it an ideal opportunity for physicians seeking flexibility while remaining clinically engaged.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
• ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
